전남 고흥 우주발사체 국가산업단지 조성안이 국무회의에서 국가정책사업으로 최종 확정됐습니다.

국토교통부는 18일 한덕수 국무총리 주재로 열린 제27회 국무회의에서 고흥 국가산단 조성안이 의결됐다고 밝혔습니다.

공공기관운영법에 따라 국가 정책적으로 추진이 필요해 국무회의를 거쳐 확정된 사업은 공공기관 예비타당성조사를 면제할 수 있습니다.

고흥 우주발사체 국가산단 조성사업은 지방권 최초로 예비타당성조사 면제를 추진하는 곳입니다.

고흥산단은 우주발사체 발사장인 나로우주센터가 자리 잡은 고흥군에 153만㎡(약 46만 평) 규모로 조성됩니다.

우주발사체 제작·개발을 위해 한화에어로스페이스,푸사리언이노스페이스 등이 입주할 예정입니다.

공영민 고흥군수는 "정부의 이번 결정에 깊이 감사드린다"며 "국무회의 통과로 국가산단 조성이 신속히 추진되는 만큼 발사체 기업들 간 집적화를 통한 시너지 효과를 낼 수 있도록 군에서도 발 빠른 대응을 하겠다"고 말했습니다.
