하나금융그룹은 금융감독원 및 인천광역시와 맺은 '중소기업 ESG 경영지원 업무협약'의 성과와 향후 방향을 공유하는 시간을 가졌다고 9일 밝혔다.

전날 오후 명동사옥에서 열린 공유회엔 이복현 금감원장,로마 대 레알 소시에다드이화여대 최용상 교수,로마 대 레알 소시에다드함영주 하나금융 회장을 비롯해 ESG 경영 컨설팅 서비스를 받았던 인천시 소재 중소기업 대표 등이 참석했다.

지난해 8월 업무협약을 맺은 뒤로 중소기업들은 ESG 경영 전반에 관해 'ESG 진단 보고서'를 제공 받았다.에너지 사용량을 기반으로 온실가스 배출량을 산정·관리할 수 있는 '온실가스 배출량 산정 시스템'도 자체적으로 구축하게 됐다.

하나금융은 전문가 검증을 거쳐 구축한 'ESG 정밀 진단 시스템'과 '온실가스 배출량 산정 시스템'을 하나은행 기업 인터넷뱅킹 홈페이지 안에 내재화한다는 방침이다.

이복현 원장은 "앞으로도 '찾아가는 중소기업 ESG 컨설팅'을 금융권과 함께 확대 실시할 계획"이라고 밝혔다.함영주 회장도 "ESG 컨설팅 시스템을 디지털화함으로써 보다 체계적으로 중소기업을 지원할 것"이라고 뜻을 모았다.
