광주시는 1일‘국립국가폭력트라우마치유센터’를 공식 개관했다고 밝혔다.이 기관은 국가폭력 등에 의한 피해자와 그 가족의 심리적 고통을 치유하고 건강한 삶의 회복을 지원한다.

치유센터는 사업비 107억 원을 들여 광주 서구 화정동 옛 국군광주병원 부지에 지하 1층,바카라사이트 소울 카지노지상 3층(연면적 2224㎡) 규모로 건립됐다.1층은 상담실과 사무공간,바카라사이트 소울 카지노2층은 다목적실과 물리치료실,바카라사이트 소울 카지노3층은 프로그램실과 야외쉼터 공간으로 조성됐다.

행정안전부는 2020년부터 광주시와 제주도에서 치유활동 시범사업을 실시했다.이후 5·18민주화운동의 상징성 등을 고려해 2021년 광주에 국립 치유센터를 건립하기로 확정했다.제주도에는 제주4·3의 상처를 보듬고 특화된 치유 프로그램 서비스를 제공하기 위해 이날 제주센터를 동시 개관했다.

강기정 광주시장은 "국립국가폭력트라우마치유센터는 국가의 직접적인 폭력 뿐 아니라 국민의 생명과 안전을 지킬 의무 소홀로 발생한 피해까지 대상을 넓혀야 한다"며 "5·18과 4·3뿐 아니라 세월호·이태원 참사 등도 국가가 그 아픔을 어루만져야 할 치유의 대상"이라고 말했다.
