[서울=뉴시스]윤정민 기자 = 위믹스 재단이 브리오슈 하드포크를 통해 물량 일부를 소각하는 등 위믹스 토크노믹스를 개편했다고 1일 밝혔다.

개편 핵심 내용은 블록 민팅 반감기 도입,블랙잭 유칼립투스리저브 대량 소각 등이다.반감기 도입은 위믹스 3.0 메인넷에서 블록 하나가 생성될 때마다 보상으로 발행되는 위믹스 수량을 점차 줄이는 것이다.반감기는 약 2년에 한 번씩 총 16차례에 걸쳐 시행된다.

재단 측은 이날 오전 1차 반감기를 거쳐 민팅 수량이 1블록당 1개에서 0.5개로 줄었다고 말했다.반감기가 적용된 블록 민팅 현황은 위믹스 스캔 등을 통해 확인할 수 있다.

위믹스 재단은 재단에서 보유해 온 위믹스 리저브 미유통 물량 약 5억9800만개 중 최소한의 생태계 성장 재원을 제외한 약 4억3400만개를 일시에 소각했다고 밝혔다.위믹스 보유 현황과 유통량 변화 등에 대한 상세 내용은 위믹스 분기보고서를 통해 안내할 예정이다.

반감기 도입과 리저브 대량 소각을 통해 설정된 위믹스 최대 공급량은 5억9000만개로 기존 대비 약 60% 줄었다.공급량이 5억9000만개에 도달하면 블록 민팅은 영구 정지된다.

재단은 커뮤니티와의 공동 성장을 최우선 가치로 토크노믹스를 계속해서 발전시킬 계획이라고 전했다.이달 중순에는 위믹스 데이를 열고 블록체인 게임 플랫폼 '위믹스 플레이'에서 게이머와 커뮤니티가 동반성장할 수 있는 새로운 경제 구조를 선보일 예정이다.
