모더나 등 창업 바이오 전문 VC

플래그십 파이오니어링은 2000년 설립 후 누적 운용자산이 약 19조원에 이르는 글로벌 탑3 벤처캐피탈사로,2024 야구 일정라이프 사이언스 분야에 특화돼 있다.특히 내부 연구조직을 활용해 바이오 신기술 기업을 직접 설립하고 육성하는 창업형 벤처캐피탈사로 유명하다.현재까지 모더나를 포함해 100개 이상의 기업을 창업하고 이중 30여개사를 상장시켰다.

플래그십 파이오니어링 8호 펀드는 규모가 총 26억달러(3조5984억원)다.AI 기반 신약개발 플랫폼 기술 등에 집중 투자할 예정이다.

삼성은 플래그십 파이오니어링 8호 펀드로부터 향후 발굴할 라이프 사이언스 혁신기술 기업들에 대한 정보를 제공받고,2024 야구 일정회사별로 추가 투자여부를 검토한다는 방침이다.삼성은 2022년에도 라이프사이언스 1호 펀드를 통해 플래그십 파이오니어링 산하 기업에 1500만달러(208억원)를 투자했다.지난 1월에는 플래그십 파이오니어링과 전략적 협력 MOU(업무협약)를 체결했다.

김재우 삼성물산 라이프 사이언스 사업 담당 부사장은 "삼성물산은 친환경 에너지 및 바이오 사업 중심으로 미래 성장 동력 확보를 추진 중"이라며 "이번 출자는 바이오 분야 차세대 기술 발굴을 위한 노력의 일환"이라고 했다.이어 "기존 진단·치료 방법의 한계를 뛰어넘는 혁신 기술,2024 야구 일정세상을 바꾸는 미래 기술 발굴을 통해 삼성 바이오 신사업에 대한 투자 기회 확대가 기대된다"고 했다.
