(서울=연합뉴스) 정준영 기자 = 서울 마포구(구청장 박강수)는 상암동 난지한강공원에 2천863㎡ 규모로 조성한 '반려동물 캠핑장'이 오는 22일 개장한다고 19일 밝혔다.

기존 반려동물 놀이터와 차별화해 반려동물과 함께 누리는 수준 높은 여가와 특화 서비스를 추구하는 공간이라고 구는 설명했다.

소형견과 대형견이 구분돼 안전하게 놀 수 있는 공간과 음수대,설치 없이 하는 게임동물샤워장을 갖췄다.또 행동상담실을 둬 반려견 행동 교정과 펫티켓 교육을 진행한다.

반려견과 도심 속 캠핑을 즐기는 경험도 제공한다.반려견과 한강을 바라보며 캠핑할 수 있는 캠핑 데크가 마련됐고,설치 없이 하는 게임텐트와 돗자리 등 캠핑용품을 대여해주는 서비스도 운영한다.

박강수 구청장은 "반려동물은 현재 개인의 삶뿐만 아니라 대한민국 경제와 산업 전반에까지 큰 영향력을 미치고 있다"며 "이 캠핑장은 이러한 흐름을 선도해 여가·편의·문화·교육 등 다양한 반려동물 콘텐츠를 한자리에서 누릴 수 있는 복합공간"이라고 강조했다

구는 22일 오후 1시 개장식을 연다.

박 구청장과 반려동물 동반 가족들이 함께하는 개장 축하 행사 외에도 '기다려 킹 뽑기 대회',설치 없이 하는 게임'장기자랑 대회' 등 이벤트도 열린다.강아지 포토존 등 다양한 체험 부스도 운영된다.

구는 오는 8월까지를 시범운영 기간으로 정해 매주 화~일요일(매주 월요일 휴무) 무료 개방할 예정이다.
