쇼핑몰 관리를 소홀히 해 11만명 넘는 회원의 개인정보가 유출된 업체에 과징금 4억원을 부과한 처분이 정당하다는 법원 판결이 나왔습니다.

서울행정법원은 건강기능식품 제조사 에스엘바이오텍이 개인정보보호위를 상대로 낸 과징금 부과 처분 취소 소송에서 원고 패소 판결을 내렸습니다.

해당 제조사가 운영하던 '뉴트리코어' 쇼핑몰은 지난 2022년 9월 해킹으로 회원 11만 9000여명의 이름과 생년월일,비디오 슬롯주소 등 개인정보가 유출됐습니다.

회사 측은 다른 클라우드 업체의 문제로 해킹당했다고 주장했지만,비디오 슬롯재판부는 쇼핑몰에 악성코드 파일이 업로드되는 등 관리를 소홀히 한 점이 인정된다고 판단했습니다.
