26일 서울옥션에 따르면 전날 오후 서울 강남구 신사동 서울옥션 강남센터에서 열린 정기경매에서 서울 서초구 반포동에 지을 예정인 '더 팰리스 73'의 오피스텔 1개 호실(전용면적 261.30㎡) 분양권이 219억원에 낙찰됐다.

이 오피스텔은 시작가 160억원부터 5억원씩 가격을 올리는 식으로 경매가 진행됐다.경합 끝에 원래 분양가(210억원)보다 높은 가격에 낙찰됐다.

'더 팰리스 73'은 '건축계 노벨상'으로 불리는 프리츠커상을 받은 미국 건축가 리차드 마이어가 설계에 참여한 국내 첫 주거 시설이다.그가 설계한 국내 건축물로는 강릉 씨마크 호텔,챔피언스리그 바이에른 뮌헨강릉 솔올미술관 등이 있다.

'더 팰리스 73'은 총 73가구(공동주택 58가구·오피스텔 15실)가 들어선다.이중 출품된 오피스텔에 한해 마이어가 세운 건축사 마이어 파트너스가 내부 인테리어를 담당하고 서울옥션이 아트 컨설팅을 제공한다.시공은 삼성물산이 맡는다.
