천만명 넘는 구독자를 보유한 유튜버 쯔양을 협박해 수천만원을 뜯어내고 이를 방조한 유튜버들이 구속돼 재판에 넘겨졌습니다.

수원지검 형사2부와 형사5부는 지난해 2월 쯔양에게 탈세와 사생활 관련 의혹 영상을 유튜브에 올릴 것처럼 위협해 5,류비 발500만원을 뜯어낸 혐의로 유튜버 구제역과 주작감별사를 구속 기소했습니다.

검찰은 쯔양 관련 영상을 올리기보다 돈을 뜯어내는 것이 낫다는 취지로 권유해 범행을 방조한 혐의로 유튜버 카라큘라를 구속 기소하고 유튜버 크로커다일은 불구속 기소했습니다.

이밖에도 카라큘라와 구제역은 한 인터넷 방송인의 코인 사기 의혹을 거론하며 각각 3천만원과 2,류비 발200만원을 뜯어낸 혐의도 받고 있습니다.

검찰 수사 결과 이들은 '한국 온라인 견인차공제회'라 자칭하며 카카오톡 단체대화방 등을 통해 쯔양 관련 정보를 공유하고,류비 발범행 뒤에도 대처 방안을 논의한 걸로 드러났습니다.

특히,류비 발카라큘라와 구제역은 수사에 대비해 통화녹음 파일을 조작하는 등 증거인멸을 시도한 것으로 파악됐습니다.

앞서 검찰은 지난달 26일 구제역과 주작 감별사를 구속한 데 이어 카라큘라도 지난 2일 구속했습니다.

한편,류비 발검찰은 쯔양을 공갈한 혐의로 구속영장을 청구했으나 법원에서 기각된 최 모 변호사에 대해 보완수사를 거쳐 오늘 구속영장을 재청구했습니다.
