공단과 코레일,월드컵 베스트 11내·외부전문가의 기술자문과 심의

이번 일원화는 협력사와 제조업체의 혼선을 예방하기 위한 것이다.

그간 철도시설 용품 표준 규격을 코레일 KRCS(Korea Railroad Corporation Standards),한국철도표준규격 KRS(Korea Railway Standards·한국철도기술연구원 관리),공단은 KRSA(Korea national Railway Standards Authority)로 사용해 왔다.

이에 따라 공단은 철도건설 개량에 원활한 물품 수급을 지원하고 철도 시설 물품의 품질 향상을 위해 2022년도부터 코레일에서 관리하던 철도분야(궤도,설비,전철전력,월드컵 베스트 11신호,월드컵 베스트 11통신) 표준규격(KRCS) 194개에 대해 한국철도표준규격(KRS)과 국가철도공단 표준규격(KRSA)의 동일·유사성을 비교,월드컵 베스트 11검토해 신규 반영계획이 없는 47개를 제외한 147개를 선정해 표준규격 일원화했다.

공단은 또 표준규격 일원화를 위해 각 분야별로 공단과 코레일 내·외부전문가의 기술자문과 심의를 거쳐 공사 표준규격(KRCS)에서 국가 및 공단의 표준규격 138개로 조정됐다.이 중 11개는 한국철도표준규격(KRS)으로 대체했고 127개는 공단 표준규격(KRSA)으로 대체하거나 개정 또는 신규 제정했다.

이성해 철도공단 이사장은 "철도시설 용품의 표준규격 관리 일원화를 통해 효율적으로 철도시설 용품을 구매하고 관리할 수 있게 됐다"며 "신뢰성 확보와 고객만족 실현에 기여할 것으로 기대된다”고 말했다.
