정부가 주변 시세보다 저렴하게 장기 거주할 수 있는 '든든전세주택' 3400가구 입주자를 모집한다고 18일 밝혔다.

든든전세주택은 한국토지주택공사(LH)와 주택도시보증공사(HUG)가 연립,슬롯 사이트 kt다세대,슬롯 사이트 kt오피스텔 등을 매입해 주변 시세의 90% 수준 보증금으로 전세를 놓는 공공임대주택이다.소득·자산과 무관하게 무주택자라면 누구나 신청할 수 있으며 최대 8년간 거주할 수 있다.

국토부는 올해부터 내년까지 든든전세주택 2만 5000가구를 공급할 계획이다.

LH는 3~4인 가구가 생활할 수 있는 전용면적 60~85㎡ 신축 주택 1만5000가구를 매입한다.HUG는 집주인 대신 전세금을 돌려주고 경매에 부쳐진 주택을 직접 낙찰받아 1만 가구 주택을 공급할 예정이다.

입주자 모집공고는 매입을 완료한 주택부터 순차적으로 실시한다.LH가 먼저 1600가구에 대해 이달 27일 입주자 모집 공고를 진행하며 하반기에는 1200가구 입주자를 모집한다.

HUG는 지난달 7일부터 이달 14일까지 경매 낙찰받은 주택 590가구에 대해 기존 거주자 퇴거 협의와 주택 수리 등을 거쳐 다음달 24일 입주자 모집 공고를 낸다.

김규철 국토교통부 주택토지실장은 "공공기관이 전세금을 받아 장기간 저렴하게 살 수 있는 비아파트를 직접 공급하는 것으로 아파트 쏠림현상이 완화될 것으로 기대된다"며 "교통 접근성과 입지를 갖춘 지역을 중심으로 주택 매입을 지속적으로 늘려 나갈 것"이라고 밝혔다.
