KF-21 20대·후속군수지원.2026년 전력화 추진한국항공우주산업(KAI)이 한국형전투기 KF-21 최초 양산계약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

25일 KAI에 따르면 방위사업청과 맺은 이번 계약은 KF-21 총 20대와 후속군수지원(기술교범,휴대폰으로 티비보기교육 등)을 포함해 총 1조9600억원 규모다.

한국형전투기(KF-X) 체계개발사업은 공군의 장기운영 전투기F-4,F-5를 대체하고 미래 전장운용개념에 부합되는 4.5세대 전투기를 개발하기 위한 사업으로 2015년 체계개발에 착수했다.총 개발기간은 10년 6개월로 2026년 체계개발을 완료예정이며,휴대폰으로 티비보기2026년말 부터 양산기 납품을 시작해 한국 공군에 전력화시킨다는 계획이다.KF-21 개발에는 약 600여개 국내 협력업체가 참여하고 있으며,휴대폰으로 티비보기국산화율 65%를 목표로 개발 중이다.

KF-21은 2022년 7월 시제1호기 초도비행을 시작으로 시험비행에 본격 착수했으며 올해 3월 공중급유 비행에 성공해 원거리 작전능력을 확보하고 공대공 미티어 유도발사 성공 및 항공기 고도,휴대폰으로 티비보기속도,기동성 등 임무영역을 확장해 전투기 완성도를 높였다.최초 시험평가를 통해 지난해 5월‘잠정 전투용 적합 판정’을 획득했으며,휴대폰으로 티비보기올해 3월‘방위사업추진위원회’에서 최초 양산 승인을 받았다.
