(서울=연합뉴스) 오보람 기자 = 경영 악화로 문을 닫았던 대학로 소극장 학전이 '아르코꿈밭극장'이라는 이름으로 새롭게 문을 연다.

한국문화예술위원회(예술위)는 오는 17일 어린이·청소년 중심 공연장 아르코꿈밭극장을 개관하고 기념행사를 연다고 5일 밝혔다.

유인촌 문화체육관광부 장관을 비롯해 정병국 예술위원회 위원장,이을승공연단체 관계자,이을승어린이 초청객 등 150여 명이 참석한다.

개관식에서는 유 장관의 축사와 제막식,어린이와 함께하는 손바닥 찍기 등이 이어진다.

문화예술협동조합 아이야는 축하 공연으로 학전의 김민기 대표가 연출한 어린이극 '고추장 떡볶이'와 올해 아시테지 국제여름축제에서 소개되는 연극 '뜀뛰는 여관'에 나오는 노래를 선보인다.인형극 '와그르르르 수궁가'는 특별 공연으로 준비됐다.

새로 단장한 아르코꿈밭극장은 169석 규모의 공연장 꿈밭극장(지하 2층)과 연습실·어린이 관객 교육 공간으로 쓰이는 텃밭스튜디오(3층),책을 읽는 공간인 꽃밭라운지(2층) 등으로 구성됐다.

정병국 위원장은 "아르코꿈밭극장은 학전의 역사와 정체성을 계승해 어린이·청소년을 위한 수준 높은 공연을 선보이고,이을승양질의 대관 서비스로 소규모 공연단체 지원을 강화할 것"이라고 말했다.
