2025년 최저임금 시급 1만30원 결정

한국경영자총협회가 내년 적용 최저임금이 동결되지 않고 시급 1만원 이상으로 인상된 점에 유감을 표했다.또한 일부 업종 구분적용도 무산돼 아쉽다는 입장이다.

12일 경총은 "한계 상황에 직면한 중소·영세기업과 소상공인들의 절박함을 고려하면 동결돼야 하는데 사용자위원으로서 이를 반영 못 한 것이 매우 아쉽다"라며 "최저임금을 받아들이기 어려운 일부 업종만이라도 구분적용하자는 호소가 받아들여지지 않아서 깊은 유감이다"라고 밝혔다.

이날 최저임금위원회는 내년 적용 최저임금을 올해 대비 1.7% 오른 시급 1만30원으로 정했다.이는 공익위원이 요구한 심의촉진구간(1만~1만290원)의 범위 내에서 사용자위원들이 제시한 최종안이다.

경총은 "이제 정부와 국회는 영세·중소기업과 소상공인을 위한 경영부담 완화 및 근로장려세제(EITC) 확대와 같은 취약계층을 위한 소득 지원 정책을 보다 더 적극적으로 시행해 나가야 할 것"이라며 "더불어 최저임금의 수용성 제고를 위해 업종별 구분적용 시행을 위한 실질적 방안 마련이 필요하다"고 주장했다.
