'민간 R&D 협의체'는 과학기술정보통신부와 한국산업기술진흥협회가 2021년부터 운영한 협의체다.민간과 정부의 협력을 통해 기업이 필요로 하는 기술·정책·제도개선의 수요를 발굴하고 정부에 전달하는 역할을 한다.

이날 전문위원회 참석자들은 자율주행 버스 '주야로'를 시승했다.'주야로'는 오토노머스에이투지가 경기도 안양시에 상용화한 자율주행 버스다.낮에는 유동인구가 많은 안양시청 인근을 운행하고,포커 누적상금심야 시간에는 버스 이용이 어려운 인덕원역·안양역 인근에서 레벨4 자율주행 서비스를 제공 중이다.

유민상 오토노머스에이투지 최고전략책임자(CSO)는 "이번 위원회를 통해 자율주행업계의 현실적 현황을 공유하고,포커 누적상금상용화를 위한 기술의 현재와 미래를 논의했다"면서 "앞으로도 민간 R&D 협의체를 통해 업계의 목소리가 반영된 정책·제도 개선이 이뤄질 수 있도록 최선을 다할 것"이라고 말했다.
