엔씨소프트가 14일 경기도 성남시 분당구 엔씨소프트 판교 연구·개발(R&D)센터에서 임시 주주총회를 개최하고 기업 분할 및 신설회사 설립을 확정했다고 밝혔다.

엔씨소프트는 지난 6월 24일 이사회를 열고 회사 분할 및 2개의 신설회사 설립을 결정했다.임시 주주총회에서는 의결사항인‘분할계획서 승인의 건’이 원안대로 가결되었다.

신설회사는 '엔씨큐에이(QA)',바카라 무료 플레이'엔씨아이디에스' 등 2개의 비상장법인이다.10월 1일 출범을 목표로 한다.

엔씨큐에이는 품질 보증(QA) 서비스 사업 부문 전문 기업이다.사업 영역은 △소프트웨어 품질 보증 서비스 및 기타 관련 사업 △컴퓨터 프로그래밍,바카라 무료 플레이시스템 통합 및 관리 △정보 기술 및 컴퓨터 운영 관련 서비스 등이다.엔씨아이디에스는 응용 소프트웨어 개발 공급 사업 부문 전문 기업이다.사업 영역은 △응용 소프트웨어 개발 및 공급 △컴퓨터 시스템 통합 자문 및 구축 △시스템 소프트웨어 개발 및 공급 등이다.

엔씨소프트는 이번 분할을 통해 각 사업부문별 신속하고 전문적인 의사결정이 가능한 경영 체제를 확립하고 궁극적으로 기업가치와 주주가치 제고에 집중할 계획이다.

주주총회 의장을 맡은 박병무 공동대표는 "신설 회사들은 기술지원조직의 전문성을 활용해 기업 간 거래(B2B) 중심 전문 기업으로 거듭날 것"이라며 "엔씨소프트는 본연의 경쟁력을 지킬 뿐 아니라 지속 성장의 기틀 마련에도 총력을 기울이겠다"고 말했다.
