[수원=뉴시스] 박상욱 기자 = 김동연 경기도지사가 12일 "대북 전단을 단속하는 경기도를 불법으로 몰아가는 통일부의 시도를 강력히 규탄하고 경고한다"고 밝혔다.

이날 전라남도 신안군을 방문한 김동연 지사는 통일부가 경기도,룰렛돌리기 네이버파주시의 대북전단 살포 단속 조처가 '위헌-위법'임을 지적할 수 있다는 법률 검토를 로펌 등에 의뢰했다는 보도에 대한 입장을 묻는 질문에 이같이 답했다.

그는 "접경지의 안전과 한반도 평화를 지키려는 노력을 가로막는 통일부는 도대체 어느 나라의 통일부인가"라며 "경기도지사로서 도민 안전과 평화를 위협하는 시도는 용납할 수 없다"고 지적했다.

이어 "강력히 경고한다.윤석열 정부와 통일부는 제발 정상으로 돌아오라.저는 도민의 안전과 평화를 위해 모든 일을 다할 것이다"라고 강조했다.

앞서 김 지사는 지난 11일 도청에서 '긴급 유관기관 대책회의'를 열고 "한반도 긴장이 고조되고 있다"며 "대북전단 살포 예상 지역에 즉시 특별사법경찰관들을 출동시켜 순찰하고 감시를 강화하도록 하겠다"고 말했다.

이에 경기도는 지난달 21일과 24일 대북전단 풍선을 살포한 탈북단체 자유북한운동연합과 국민계몽운동본부를 경기북부경찰청과 경기남부경찰청에 수사의뢰했다．
