◇강원경찰청(청장:김준영),이마트배고교야구대회MG새마을금고중앙회 강원지역본부,강원사회복지공동모금회(회장:유계식) 등은 25일 강원경찰청에서‘고위험 가정폭력 피해 가정의 입원 치료비 지원을 위한 업무협약’을 체결했다.

강원지역 내 가정폭력 피해자의 지원을 위한 협력체계가 구축됐다.

강원경찰청,MG새마을금고중앙회 강원지역본부,강원사회복지공동모금회 등은 25일 강원경찰청에서‘고위험 가정폭력 피해 가정의 입원 치료비 지원을 위한 업무협약’을 체결했다.

이번 협약 체결로 새마을금고 강원지역본부는 새마을금고 강원지역협의회와 함께 정실질환 등 고위험 가정폭력 피해자 보호를 위해 입원 치료비 1억원을 지원할 예정이다.강원지역협의회 55개 지점에서 각 200여만원을‘지역사회 환원사업’기부금 형식으로 지원하기로 했다.

강원사회복지공동모금회는 도내 취약계층 지원에 적극 공감하며 입원 치료비가 실질적으로 필요한 가정에 지원될 수 있도록 가교역할을 맡는다.

김준영 강원경찰청장은 “정신질환이 있는 가정폭력 가해자의 경우 재발 가능성이 높은 만큼 가해자에 대한 예방적 제재와 두터운 피해자 보호를 위해 협력체계를 구축하게 됐다”며 “경제적으로 어려운 소외계층을 보살펴 안전한 강원도 가정환경 조성에 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
