청담동 술자리 의혹 장소로 지목된 카페 업주가 유튜브 매체를 상대로 낸 손해배상 소송이 기각됐다.

민사합의25부는 12일 업주 이모씨가 유튜브 매체 '시민언론 더탐사'를 상대로 제기한 손해배상 소송을 기각했다고 밝혔다.

재판부는 법정에서 따로 선고 이유를 밝히지는 않았다.

이 의혹은 2022년 7월 19~20일 윤석열 대통령과 국민의힘 한동훈 대표 후보(당시 법무부 장관)가 김앤장 법률사무소 소속 변호사 30여 명과 함께 청담동 술집에서 술자리를 가졌다는 내용이다.

김의겸 전 의원이 그해 10월 국회 법제사법위원회 국정감사에서 해당 의혹을 제기하며 당시 술자리에 있었다는 첼리스트가 전 남자친구에게 해당 내용을 언급한 통화 내용을 공개했다.

이후 더탐사가 통화 내용을 담은 영상을 자사 유튜브 채널에 올리자 이씨는 영상 삭제와 함께 손해배상을 요구하는 소송을 냈다.
