금감원 소비자 경보 '주의' 발령

피해 사례를 보면 대형사와 소형사를 막론하고 다양한 증권사 직원이 지위를 악용해 사기 행각을 벌였습니다.

사기행각을 벌인 증권사 직원들은 장기간 자산관리와 거래관계 등으로 친분을 쌓았습니다.

이후 '저가 매수 기회',rotonda'나만 아는 정보'라며 현혹해 본인의 은행 계좌로 자금을 입금하도록 유도했습니다.

이들은 돈이 들어오면 생활비와 유흥비 등 사적으로 사용해 모두 탕진했습니다.

증권사 직원이 직무상 취득할 수 있는 정보를 이용한 사익 추구 행위는 자본시장법 등에 따라 엄격히 금지됩니다.

증권사의 모든 정상 거래는 금융소비자 본인 명의 계좌를 통해서만 이뤄집니다.

증권사 직원이 개인 계좌로 입금을 요청하면 거절해야 합니다.

타인 명의의 계좌를 이용하는 경우 금융실명법 등 위반에 연루될 수 있고 관계 법령에 따라 함께 처벌받을 수 있습니다.

금감원은 "증권사 직원으로부터 사기로 의심되는 제안을 받았거나 현재 거래 중이라면 즉시 거래를 중단하고 신속하게 해당 증권사와 금융감독원 또는 경찰에 신고해달라"고 밝혔습니다.
