[이데일리 김현아 기자] 국회 인공지능(AI) 포럼 창립총회 및 기념세미나가 오늘(26일) 국회의원회관 제2소회의실에서 열린다.이번 행사는 인공지능 기술 발전과 응용을 촉진하고 관련 정책을 논의하기 위해 마련됐다.

국회,프로야구봇기업,프로야구봇정부,시민사회단체가 협력하여 인공지능(AI) 기술의 발전과 응용을 촉진하고 관련 정책을 논의하며,AI 산업의 혁신을 통해 사회문화적 가치를 올바른 방향으로 정립하기 위해 국회의원 연구단체‘국회 인공지능 포럼’이 조직됐다.

9시 30분부터 열리는 이번 세미나는 국민의힘 이인선 대표의원,프로야구봇더불어민주당 조승래 책임연구의원이 공동 주최했다.국회도서관,과학기술정보통신부,한국인터넷기업협회가 후원했다.

하정우 네이버 AI 이노베이션센터장이‘글로벌 AI 경쟁 현황 및 시사점’을 발표한 뒤,강현정 김&장 변호사,김승일 모두의 연구소 대표,프로야구봇오순영 디지털플랫폼정부위원회 AI데이터분과 위원이 발표한다.

이번 포럼을 통해 AI 기술의 발전 방향과 사회문화적 가치 정립을 위한 정책이 활발히 논의될 것으로 보인다.참석자들은 다양한 세션을 통해 AI 산업의 혁신과 글로벌 경쟁력을 강화할 방안을 모색할 예정이다.
