영남지역 국회의원 58명이‘2025 아시아태평양경제협력체(APEC) 정상회의’경주 유치 지지를 선언했다.

경북 경주에 지역구를 둔 국민의힘 김석기(사진) 의원은 17일 대구·경북 국회의원 27명 전원과 부산·울산·경남 국회의원 31명 등 58명이 서명한 경주유치 지지성명서를 APEC 정상회의 개최도시선정위원회에 전달했다고 밝혔다.

현재 경주를 비롯해 인천,제주가 치열한 유치 경쟁을 펼치고 있다.

경북도와 경주시는 역사·문화·관광도시,배팅 잘하는법영남권 주요 산업현장 시찰이 가능한 산업 중심도시,배팅 잘하는법경호·안전 안심 도시,배팅 잘하는법준비된 국제회의 도시란 점을 내세워 유치에 공을 들이고 있다.

김 의원은 “수도권이 아닌 지역에서 APEC 정상회의가 열리면 현 정부의 국정 목표인 지방경제 활성화와 국토 균형발전에 큰 도움이 될 것”이라고 말했다.
