네이버웹툰 3년 연속·카카오엔터 2년 연속‘정보보호 투자 우수기업’

[디지털데일리 이나연기자] 국내 양대 콘텐츠 플랫폼 기업인 네이버웹툰과 카카오엔터테인먼트 모두 2년 연속 한국인터넷진흥원(KISA)으로부터‘정보보호 투자 우수기업’을 인증받았다.

정보기술(IT) 부문 투자액만 놓고 보면 카카오엔터가 네이버웹툰의 2배에 달했고,마이애미 오픈직전 해 대비 투자 증가 폭은 네이버웹툰이 6%포인트(P) 앞섰다.정보보호 투자에는 양사가 같이 전체 IT 투자액의 7% 수준을 유지했다.

8일 정보보호 공시 종합포털에 따르면,지난 2023년 네이버웹툰 IT 부문 전체 투자액은 전년 대비 10%가량 오른 415억원이다.정보보호에는 전체 IT 투자액의 7% 수준인 30억원을 투자하고 있다.직전 해인 약 28억원보다 소폭 늘어난 수치다.

네이버웹툰 전체 임직원 수는 746명,마이애미 오픈이중 IT 부문 인력은 244명이다.정보보호 부문 전담 인력은 IT 부문 인력에서 약 7%인 15명이다.

같은 해 카카오엔터 IT 부문 전체 투자액은 전년과 비교해 약 4% 늘어난 809억원이다.정보보호에는 전체 IT 투자액의 4%인 29억원가량을 투자했다.네이버웹툰과 마찬가지로 직전 해인 27억원 대비 소폭 증가했다.

카카오엔터 전체 임직원 수는 1186명,마이애미 오픈이중 IT 부문 인력은 312명이다.정보보호 부문 전담 인력은 IT 부문 인력에서 4% 비중인 13명이다.

한편,마이애미 오픈카카오엔터는 지난 2022년부터 의무적으로 정보보호 공시를 시작한 네이버웹툰과 달리 2023년부터 정보보호 공시에 나섰다.지난해는 공시 의무 기업이었으나 올해 공시 자율 기업으로 전환했다.

과학기술정보통신부,한국인터넷진흥원(KISA) 등은 정보보호산업법 개정에 따른 조치로 ▲매출 3000억원 이상 상장사 ▲일평균 100만명 이상 정보통신서비스 제공자 등에 정보보호현황 공시 의무를 부과하고 있다.
