(서울=연합뉴스) 이미령 기자 = 한국토지주택공사(LH) 임대아파트 재도장 사업을 특정 업체가 불법 재하도급 받아 시공했다는 의혹과 관련해 경찰이 압수수색에 나섰다.

서울 서초경찰서는 25일 오전부터 경남 진주시 LH 본사와 LH 인천 본부 사무실,아르헨티나 월드컵 패치서초구의 한 공사업체에 수사관을 보내 관련 자료를 확보 중이다.

LH는 2022년 인천의 한 임대아파트 재도장 공사 과정에서 공사업체 A사와 도급 계약을 맺었는데,아르헨티나 월드컵 패치이후 A사가 B사에 불법 재하도급을 줬다는 의혹이 제기됐다.

건설산업기본법상 하청업체는 일부 예외적인 경우를 제외하고 하도급받은 공사를 재하도급할 수 없다.

LH는 자체 조사를 통해 불법 재하도급 정황을 확인하고 해당 업체들에 대해 작년과 재작년 두 차례에 걸쳐 경찰에 수사 의뢰했다.또 LH 직원도 관리·감독을 소홀히 했다고 보고 2명을 징계 처분했다.

경찰은 이 과정에서 LH 직원이 불법 하도급 정황을 알고도 묵인했을 가능성도 있다고 보고 이날 압수수색 대상에 LH 사무실도 포함했다.
