손흥민 선수의 아버지 손웅정 감독의 학생 체벌이 아동학대인지가 논란인 가운데 잦은 지각을 한 학생을 야구방망이로 한 대씩 때린 교사가 대법원에서 유죄를 확정받았습니다.

교사는 체벌의 강도가 세지 않았고 정당한 훈육이었다고 항변했지만 받아들여지지 않았습니다.

최민영 기자가 보도합니다.

[리포트]

2019년 경기도의 한 고등학교에서 1학년 담임을 맡았던 교사 A 씨.

새 학기 첫날 반 학생인 B 군이 지각을 하자 교실에서 야구방망이로 B 군의 엉덩이를 한 대 때렸습니다.

이후 4월 초까지 한 달 동안 B 군이 지각을 하거나 수업 시간에 졸았다는 이유로 A 교사는 모두 6차례에 걸쳐 같은 방식으로 체벌했습니다.

9월 초에는 B 군과 복도에서 마주치자 "어깨를 펴라"며 가슴을 주먹으로 두 번 때리기도 했습니다.

아동학대 혐의로 재판에 넘겨진 A 씨는 혐의를 부인했습니다.

때린 건 맞지만 아주 약한 강도였고,더킹 카지노 게임한두 차례에 불과해 학대가 아닌 훈육이라고 주장했습니다.

가슴을 때린 것에 대해서도 격려의 의미로 어깨를 툭 쳤을 뿐이라고 해명했습니다.

반 학생들의 진술에 따르면 때린 횟수가 적지 않았고 강도도 약하지 않았다며 B 군이 상당한 정신적 고통을 입은 만큼 학대행위가 맞다고 1심 법원은 판단했습니다.

또 "초·중등교육법은 체벌을 절대적으로 금지하고 있고,더킹 카지노 게임체벌이 불가피했다고 보이지도 않는다며 A 씨에게 징역 8개월에 집행유예 1년 6개월을 선고했습니다.

A 씨는 항소했지만 2심 재판부는 항소를 기각했고,대법원의 판단도 같았습니다.
