대웅제약은 자사의 보툴리눔 톡신 제품 '나보타'가 국산 최초로 아르헨티나 식품의약품의학기술청(ANMAT)의 품목허가를 획득했다고 15일 밝혔다.

수출명은 '클로듀(CLODEW)'이며 허가 용량은 100유닛과 200유닛이다.대웅제약은 올해 4분기 파트너사 옥사파마(Oxapharma S.A.)를 통해 아르헨티나에 클로듀를 발매한다.

현지 유통 및 판매는 옥시파마가 도맡을 예정이다.옥시파마는 제약,느바매니아화장품,느바매니아미용 전문 회사로 히알루론산 필러,느바매니아스킨부스터 등 다양한 미용 포트폴리오를 보유하고 있다.현지 노하우를 바탕으로 자체 학술 행사와 마케팅을 주도해 브랜드 마케팅을 성공적으로 펼칠 계획이다.

아르헨티나는 중남미 3대 시장이지만 정부가 지정한 고위생감시국 인증을 받은 국가 제품이 아니면 의약품을 도입하지 않아 뚫기 어려운 시장으로 꼽힌다.한국은 고위생감시국으로 인증을 받지 않았다.국제미용성형외과학회(ISAPS)에 따르면 아르헨티나는 보툴리눔 톡신 시술 인구가 1000명당 4.5명으로,느바매니아전 세계 네 번째로 많다.

다만 나보타는 지난 2019년 미국식품의약국(FDA)으로부터 승인받은 바 있어,느바매니아이번 ANMAT의 허가를 받을 수 있었다.

박성수 대웅제약 대표는 "이번 클로듀의 아르헨티나 품목허가를 발판으로 중남미 지역에서 대웅제약의 톡신 시장 지배력을 더욱 확대해 나가겠다"고 밝혔다.
