지난 17일 보배드림 인스타그램에는‘발로 스티어링휠(핸들) 조작하는 흰색 승용차’라는 제목의 영상이 올라왔다.

영상에는 한밤중 창문을 연 채 도로를 질주하는 흰색 승용차의 모습이 담겼다.

특히 영상속 운전자는 놀랍게도 손이 아닌 발로 운전대를 잡고 있다.운전석 좌석을 뒤로 젖힌 채 거의 누운 듯한 자세로 운전하는 모습이다.손으로는 여유롭게 머리를 쓸어 올리기도 한다.

영상을 접한 누리꾼들은‘자율주행이 아니라 자발주행‘천국으로 가는 족이다‘자율주행 기능 없는 차로 보이는데 저러다가 남에게 피해 주지 말고 조용히 혼자 가길‘발 자율주행이라니’등 다양한 반응을 보였다.

주행 중 발로 운전대를 조작하는 행위는 도로교통법에 따라 안전운전 위반으로 제재받을 수 있다.도로교통법 제48조는 모든 운전자는 조향장치나 제동장치 등을 정확하게 조작해야 하고 다른 사람에게 위험을 초래할 수 있는 속도나 방법으로 운전해서는 안 된다고 명시하고 있다.이를 어길 시 20만원 이하의 벌금이나 구류 또는 과료에 처해진다.
