한편 GGM은 오는 15일 양산되는 캐스퍼 EV 생산을 당초 계획보다 25% 정도 늘리기로 했다.

이로써 1만7000대를 생산할 예정이었던 전기차는 당초 계획보다 4000여대(25%) 늘어난 최소 2만1000대 이상을 생산한다.

GGM은 "지난 2월5일 전기차 시험생산에 돌입한 뒤 그동안 300여 대를 시험생산 했으며 현재 진행하고 있는 선행 양산에서 완벽한 무결점 최고 품질을 확보했다"고 밝혔다.
