이같은 의협의 집단휴진에 대해 정부는 강경대응하겠다고 밝혔습니다.

병의원에서 일방적으로 진료를 취소할 경우 전원 고발조치할 계획입니다.

정부는 의협의 집단 휴진을 불법 집단 진료 거부로 규정하고 엄정하게 대처할 방침입니다.

의사들이 독점적 권한의 혜택을 누리는 만큼 의료법에 따른 법적 의무를 지켜야 한다고 촉구했습니다.

[조규홍/보건복지부 장관 : "의사협회는 국민건강증진과 보건 향상이라는 사회적 책무를 부여받은 법정 단체인데도 불법 집단행동을 기획하고 의사들의 참여를 독려하고 있습니다."]

정부는 만일의 상황을 대비해 오늘 오전 9시를 기해 전국 개원 의사들에게 업무개시명령을 발령했습니다.

또한,병·의원에서 환자에게 사전안내 없이 일방적으로 진료를 취소할 경우 진료 거부로 전원 고발한다는 계획입니다.

앞으로 일부 교수들의 집단 진료거부가 장기화돼 병원에 손실이 발생할 경우에는 손해배상 청구 검토를 요청할 방침입니다.

병원이 집단 진료거부 상황을 방치할 경우 건강보험 진료비 선지급 대상에서 제외하는 방안도 고려 중입니다.

정부는 이미 의협 집행부를 상대로 집단행동 금지 명령을 내렸으며,러시아 월드컵 푸틴불법 진료거부를 독려한 의협을 공정거래법 위반으로 신고한 상탭니다.

정부는 집단 휴진에 대비해 공공의료기관의 병상을 최대한 가동하고 지방의료원,러시아 월드컵 푸틴보건소 등에서 비대면 진료를 받을 수 있도록 적극 지원할 계획입니다.
