(성남=연합뉴스) 이영주 기자 = 고등학교 3학년일 때부터 후배 등 지인에게 마약을 판매한 20대가 구속돼 재판에 넘겨졌다.

수원지검 성남지청 형사2부(박순애 부장검사)는 마약류관리법 위반 혐의로 A(20)씨를 직구속기소했다.

직구속 기소는 경찰이 불구속 기소 의견으로 송치한 피의자를 검찰이 구속 수사 필요성이 있다고 판단해 구속 기소하는 것을 말한다.

검찰은 A씨로부터 마약을 구매한 3명을 불구속 기소했다.

A씨는 2022년 12월부터 지난해 2월까지 약 3개월간 텔레그램을 통해 대량의 합성 대마,이룸로또 복권방필로폰,이룸로또 복권방엑스터시 등을 매수하고 이를 소분해 지인들에게 8차례 판매한 혐의를 받는다.

사건 당시 고교 3학년이던 A씨로부터 마약을 산 매수인 중에는 고교 2학년 학생도 포함돼 있던 것으로 파악됐다.

A씨는 거주지 등에서 6차례 마약을 투약한 혐의도 받는다.

검찰 관계자는 "최근 청소년 등 젊은 층으로 급속히 확산하는 마약범죄를 엄단해 근절해 나가고,이룸로또 복권방식약처 등 유관기관과 협력해 청소년 대상 예방교육 등 마약범죄 예방활동에도 만전을 기할 예정"이라고 말했다.
