이찬희 삼성 준법감시위원회 위원장이 오늘(18일) 삼성그룹의 한경협 회비 납부와 관련해 감시시스템과 구성원들의 이해가 필요하다고 강조했습니다.

이 위원장은 오늘 서울 삼성생명 서초타워에서 열리는 준감위 다섯 번째 정기회의를 앞두고 취재진과 만나 "아직 정식 안건으로 다루지는 않지만 안건으로 논의하기 전에 필요한 부분에 대해 자료를 요청하고 있다"고 밝혔습니다.

그러면서 "단체는 구성원의 출연으로 운영되기 때문에 기금의 사용처와 사후 감시시스템이 좀 더 정확하게 설득되고 구성원들의 이해를 얻어야 한다"고 말했습니다.

한경협은 지난 3월 삼성,굴 소금물SK,굴 소금물현대차,굴 소금물LG 등 4대 그룹에 회비를 요청했지만 아직 회비 납부 여부를 확정짓지는 못한 것으로 파악됐습니다.

특히 박근혜 정부 시절 한경협 전신인 전국경제인연합회가 국정농단에 연루되면서 회비 부담률이 높은 4대 그룹은 정경유착 논란에 휘말린 바 있습니다.

다만 류진 한국경제인협회 회장이 어제(17일) "(4대 그룹이 회비를) 다 낼 것"이라며 "좋은 결과가 나오지 않겠나"라고 언급한 만큼 기금 마련에 속도가 붙을 수 있다는 전망도 나옵니다.

이 위원장은 이재용 삼성전자 회장과의 만남에 대해서 “빠른 시일 내에 만나는 걸로 계획하고 있다”라며 “준감위원들과 하는 모임도 계획하고 있다”고 덧붙였습니다.
