LS전선은 이번 사건의 핵심이‘대한전선이 LS전선의 해저케이블 제조 설비 도면과 레이아웃 등을 탈취했는지 여부'라고 설명했습니다.또 "대한전선의 기술 탈취는 명백한 범죄행위이며 사실로 밝혀질 경우 국내외에서 모든 법적 조치를 취하겠다"고 밝혔습니다.

이어 "대한전선이 가운건축에 먼저 연락해 수차례 설계를 요청했고,계약금액이 LS전선의 2배가 넘는다고 한다"며 "또 LS전선의 다른 협력사들에게도 동일한 설비 제작 및 레이아웃을 위해 접촉했다는 얘기를 들었다"고 밝혔습니다.
