[헤럴드경제=김민지 기자] 삼성전자는 자사 게이밍 모니터 신제품‘오디세이 OLED(유기발광다이오드)’시리즈가 출시 한달 여만에 2만대 이상 판매되며 전세계 주요 국가에서 인기를 끌고 있다고 1일 밝혔다.

오디세이 OLED 신제품 2종(G80SD·G60SD)은 지난달 4일 한국을 비롯해 북미·유럽·동남아 등 주요 국가에서 동시에 판매를 시작했다.이후 2분마다 1대씩 판매된 셈이다.

이번 신제품은 삼성전자만의 독자적인 번인 방지 기술인‘삼성 OLED 세이프가드+(Samsung OLED Safeguard+)’를 최초로 적용하고,1087 회 로또 당첨 번호 확인빛 반사를 최소화하는‘OLED 글레어프리(OLED Glare Free)’를 탑재한 것이 특징이다.
