"돈·물건 훔치려 침입…여성 노린 건 아냐"

서울 서대문경찰서는 주거침입 혐의로 30대 남성 A씨를 긴급체포해 조사 중이라고 15일 밝혔다.

A씨는 지난 11일 낮 12시께 집 건물 외벽에 달린 에어컨 실외기를 밟고 창문으로 한 주민의 집으로 침입한 혐의를 받는다.당시 A씨는 집 주인과 눈이 마주치자 달아난 것으로 파악됐다.

경찰은 신고 50여분만에 A씨를 자택에서 긴급체포했다.

경찰 조사 결과 A씨는 침입한 건물에 사는 주민이 아니며 돈·물건을 훔치려 한 것으로 파악됐다.

경찰 관계자는 "당시 흉기를 소지하거나 여성을 노린 건 아니다"고 밝혔다.

경찰은 지난 12일 주거침입 혐의로 A씨에 대한 구속영장을 발부받고 동종 전력이 있는지 조사 중이다.
