7일 인천국제공항공사에 따르면 이번에 신규로 운행하는 N8843(인천공항-구리/남양주) 노선은 인천공항 제2여객터미널(종점)과 마석터미널(기점) 구간을 하루 2회 운행한다.

운행시간과 정류소 위치 등 상세한 정보는 운송사 '버스피아' 홈페이지에서 확인할 수 있다.인천공항에서 출발하는 운행편은 '티머니go' 애플리케이션(앱) 또는 인천공항 내 현장 매표발권기로 예매 후 탑승해야 한다.

구리·남양주에서 인천공항 방향 버스는 1회차 오후 9시와 익일 오전 2시 마석터미널에서 출발한다.인천공항에서 구리·남양주 방향 버스의 경우 밤 12시10분과 오전 3시50분에 각각 운행을 시작한다.

인천공항공사는 지난 1월 경기도와 '경기 심야 공항버스 확대 및 활성화 업무협약'을 체결한 바 있다.이를 바탕으로 지난 2월에는 N8844(인천공항-남양주 북부),라이브스코어베픽N8877(인천공항-용인) 2개 노선이 신설된 바 있다.

현재 심야 공항버스는 서울 5개 노선,라이브스코어베픽경기 9개 노선 등 총 14개 노선 총 76편으로,라이브스코어베픽코로나19 이전인 2019년(3개 노선 총 28편) 대비 대폭 확대돼 운행 중이다.

이학재 인천공항공사 사장은 "하계 성수기를 앞두고 심야시간 이용객이 증가하고 있는 만큼 이번 신규 노선 운행이 경기 북부 지역 여객들의 공항 접근성을 향상시켜 줄 것으로 기대한다"며 "앞으로도 심야 공항버스를 포함한 대중교통 서비스를 지속 확대해 여객 편의를 개선해 나가겠다"고 말했다．
