장병 복리 후생 위해 사용[이데일리 김은경 기자] 효성(004800)은 지난 13일 육군 1군단 광개토부대를 찾아 위문금과 육군 장병 복리후생 지원금 5000만원을 전달했다고 14일 밝혔다.

효성에서 지원한 위문금은 군부대 발전을 위해 사용된다.육군 장병 복리후생을 위한 지원금은 체력 단련 용품과 야외 농구대 등을 구매하는 데 사용될 예정이다.

효성은 육군 1군단 광개토부대와 2010년부터 1사 1병영 자매결연을 맺었다.이후 매년 광개토부대를 방문해 위문금을 전달했다.국방을 수호하는 장병들을 위해 독서 카페 시설과 세탁방 등 다양한 복리후생 시설을 지원해왔다.

효성그룹은 6월 호국보훈의 달을 맞아 서울남부보훈지청과 함께 다양한 호국보훈 사회공헌 프로그램을 진행했다.지난 4일에는 국가유공자를 대상으로 한 보훈 가족 나들이를 지원했다.7일에는 서초구 세빛섬에서 진행한 보훈문화제를 후원했다.
