대수술의 배경에는 10분기 연속 적자로 2조 5000억원의 손실을 내고 있는 배터리 사업체 SK온이 있다는 분석도 있습니다.

에너지 사업 구조조정을 통해 자금난을 해결해야 하는 상황이라는 겁니다.

SK그룹의 계열사는 219개로 내부에서도 "무슨 사업을 하는지 모르는 곳이 부지기수"라는 말이 나오고 있습니다.
