의대 교수 단체가 의뢰한‘의료 공백 사태의 책임 소재’를 묻는 여론조사에서 책임이 정부에 있다는 답과 의료계에 있다는 답변 비율이 비슷하게 나왔다.

10일 연합뉴스에 따르면 전국의과대학교교수협의회(전의교협)이 미디어리서치에 의뢰해 지난 8~9일 전국 18세 이상 남녀 1001명을 대상으로 정부의 의대 증원에 대한 의견을 묻는 여론조사(신뢰수준 95% 최대 허용 표집오차 ±3.1%p)에서 이 같은 결과가 나왔다.

'의대 정원 확대로 인한 현 의료 공백 사태에 대해 누구에게 가장 큰 책임이 있다고 생각하는가'라는 질문에 응답자의 48.8%가 '의료계 책임',아랍에미리트47.1%가 '정부 책임'이라고 답했다.

'의대 정원 2000명 증원이 과학적인 근거가 있다고 생각하는가'라는 질문에 대해서는 '매우 그렇지 않다'는 답변과 '그렇지 않은 편이다'는 답변의 비율의 합이 51.8%였다.반면 '매우 그렇다'와 '그런 편이다' 등 긍정적 답변은 42%에 그쳤다.
