양 기관은 ▲모빌리티 선도도시 구축을 위한 상호 협력기반 마련 ▲㈜쏘카 보유 모빌리티 기술력과 양질의 데이터를 바탕으로 지속가능한 교통 시스템 발전 협력 ▲북울산역 공영주차장 내 카셰어링 전용공간 조성 협력 ▲㈜쏘카 모두의주차장 온라인 주차 플랫폼 활용 ▲공영주차장 활성화 협력 ▲첨단기술을 활용한 산업단지 및 염포·양정동 주차난 해소 방안 마련에 노력한다.

박천동 북구청장은 "㈜쏘카와 함께 북울산역 KTX-이음 유치에 함께 노력해 긍정적 결과를 얻기를 바란다"며 "이번 협약이 앞으로 우리 구가 전국 최고의 미래모빌리티 선도도시로 나아가는 계기가 되기를 기대한다"고 했다.

앞서 북구는 ㈜쏘카의 협조로 차량 정차 빅데이터를 분석해 북울산역 KTX-이음 미래 이용수요를 분석했다.
