e-트론 50 콰트로(스포트백 포함),e-트론 GT 콰트로,고교야구 주말리그 일정RS e-트론 GT 콰트로에는 LG에너지솔루션 배터리가 적용됐다.또 다른 전기 SUV인 Q4 e-트론(스포트백 포함)의 배터리도 모두 LG에너지솔루션 제품이었다.

폭스바겐그룹코리아가 수입한 전기차에는 모두 국산 배터리가 장착된 셈이다.

인천 아파트 지하 주차장 화재로 촉발된 전기차 배터리 제조사 공개 행렬에 전날까지 국내 완성차업체 3곳과 수입차 업체 4곳이 동참한 가운데 이날 폭스바겐그룹코리아를 필두로 다른 전기차 수입차 업체들의 공개가 이어질 것으로 보인다.
