[MBC 자료사진] 윤석열 대통령의 배우자 김건희 여사가 연루됐다는 의혹이 있는 도이치모터스 주가조작 사건의 항소심 변론 절차가 오늘(2일) 마무리됩니다.

서울고등법원 형사5부(권순형 부장판사)는 이날 자본시장법 위반 등의 혐의로 기소된 권오수 전 도이치모터스 회장 등 9명에 대한 항소심 결심 공판을 엽니다.

통상 선고 공판은 결심 공판이 끝난 뒤 약 한 달 뒤 열리는 만큼 다음 달 중 선고 결과가 나올 것으로 전망됩니다.

권 전 회장은 2009년부터 2012년 사이 주가조작 선수 등과 짜고 도이치모터스 주가를 조작한 혐의로 1심에서 징역 2년에 집행유예 3년,건프라 월드컵벌금 3억 원을 선고받았습니다.

당시 1심 재판부는 시세 조종 과정에 김건희 여사 명의의 계좌 3개가 동원됐다고 판단했습니다.

이에 대해 김 여사가 주가 조작에 가담하지 않았다는 게 대통령실 입장입니다.

김 여사 조사 방식에 대해 그동안 검찰은 항소심 재판 상황을 지켜보고 있다고 밝혀온 만큼 이번 항소심 결과가 수사에도 영향을 미칠 것으로 전망됩니다.
