(부산=연합뉴스) 조정호 기자 = 부산시는 4일 오전 시청 국제의전실에서 KB국민은행과 '우리동네 ESG 센터' 및 '부산형 해비타트 챌린지' 사업 추진을 위한 업무협약을 체결하고 기부금 2억9천만원을 전달한다고 밝혔다.

이날 행사에는 박형준 부산시장과 이재근 KB국민은행 은행장,서영익 기관영업그룹 대표 부행장,이혁 부산울산경남지역그룹 대표 부행장 등이 참석한다.

협약에 따라 부산시는 사업 운영,람바1/3언론홍보 등을 총괄하며,KB국민은행은 사업비 2억9천만원을 지원한다.

기부금은 중구에 설치될 '우리동네 ESG 센터' 5호점 조성과 '부산형 해비타트 챌린지' 사업에 사용된다.

'우리동네 ESG 센터'는 폐플라스틱 수거 등 탄소중립 실천 및 자원순환 환경교육을 통해 친환경 노인 일자리를 창출하는 사업이다.

부산시는 올해 민간 기부금 총 9억1천만원을 확보해 해운대구,람바1/3영도구,람바1/3중구에 '우리동네 ESG 센터'를 조성한다.

'부산형 해비타트 챌린지'는 아이스버킷 챌린지의 '집 고쳐주기' 버전으로,노후 노인 가구 주택을 안전하게 개조해주는 사업이다.

박형준 시장은 "올해 우리동네 ESG 센터 3곳을 신설하고,민선 8기 동안 구·군별로 1개소씩 총 16호점을 설치할 계획"이라며 "부산형 해비타트 챌린지 사업을 통해 많은 어르신이 안전하고 편안하게 지낼 수 있기를 바란다"고 말했다.
