오늘(5일) 아침 7시 15분쯤 경기 화성시 전곡산업단지 내 한 잉크 제조공장에서 불이나 소방 당국이 진화 작업을 벌이고 있습니다.

지금까지 작업자 3명이 대피한 것으로 알려졌습니다.

소방당국은 현재 인명피해 여부를 확인 중이나 다수의 추가 인명피해는 없을 것으로 보고 있습니다.

소방당국은 펌프차 등 31대와 특수대응단 등 인원 78명을 투입하고 오전 7시 23분쯤 대응 1단계를 발령했습니다.

대응 1단계는 3∼7개 소방서에서 31∼50대의 장비를 동원하는 경보령입니다.

해당 공장은 아세트산에틸,슬롯 커뮤 넷메틸에틸케톤 등 유해화학물질을 보관 중인 것으로 전해졌습니다.

불이 나자 검은 연기가 다량으로 발생하면서 소방당국에 24건의 화재 신고가 잇따라 접수됐습니다.

화성시는 공장 화재로 연기가 많이 발생하고 있다며 인근 주민의 외출을 자제해달라는 안전 문자를 보냈습니다.

전곡산업단지는 최근 근로자 23명이 사망한 일차전지 생산업체 아리셀 공장이 위치한 곳이며,슬롯 커뮤 넷이날 불이 난 공장은 아리셀 공장에서 직선거리로 500여ｍ 떨어져 있습니다.
