대전시가 자립준비청년 취업과 실질적인 경제적 자립 지원 등을 위해 기업·경제단체와 손을 잡았다.

시는 12일 희망디딤돌 대전센터에서 이장우 시장,티빙 아시안컵 중계 무료박승희 삼성전자 사장,티빙 아시안컵 중계 무료강도묵 대전세종충남경영자총협회장,양승연 대전자립지원전담기관장이 참석한 가운데 '대전 자립준비청년 취업지원 업무협약'을 맺었다고 밝혔다.

자립준비청년은 아동복지시설이나 가정위탁 등의 보호를 받다가 만 18세 이후 보호가 종료돼 홀로서기에 나서는 청년이다.

이번 업무협약은 자립준비청년을 위해 삼성희망디딤돌 2.0을 시행하고 있는 삼성과 지역기업이 함께 자립준비청년 취업지원 모델을 구축하고 실질적인 경제적 자립을 돕기 위한 것이다.

삼성은 삼성희망디딤돌 2.0과 연계해 자립준비청년을 대상으로 현장 실무형 직무교육을 하고 취업 캠프와 취업 컨설팅을 통해 취업역량을 강화하는 역할을 맡았으며,티빙 아시안컵 중계 무료교육 기간 중 숙식과 교통수단은 무상으로 제공한다.

대전세종충남경영자총협회는 취업 교육을 이수한 자립준비청년과 회원 기업체 간 일자리를 연계하고 기업과 청년이 참여하는 채용 간담회를 개최하는 등 실질적인 취업 기회를 제공할 예정이다.

박 사장은 "자립준비청년들이 희망디딤돌을 발판삼아 자신의 가능성을 발굴하고 키우며 더 크게 성장할 수 있도록 힘써 돕겠다"고 말했다.

강 회장은 "자립을 준비해야 하는 청년들이 사회에 내딛는 첫걸음에 양질의 일자리를 얻어 정착할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다"고 전했다.

이 시장은 "자립준비청년의 주거와 경제적 지원뿐만 아니라 실질적으로 자립할 수 있도록 양질의 일자리 창출에 더욱 힘쓰겠다"고 강조했다.
