정부가 대학 졸업 후 취업하지 못한 청년들을 돕기 위해 찾아가는 고용서비스를 제공한다.

정부는 14일 관계부처 합동 일자리전담반(TF) 회의를 열고 이같은 내용이 담긴 '2024년 하반기 지역 청년 취업지원 강화방안'을 발표했다.

우선 대학일자리+센터에서 미취업 졸업생을 발굴해 졸업생 특화 취업지원 프로그램을 선제적으로 안내하는 '청년고용올케어 플랫폼' 시범사업을 8개 대학에서 16일부터 시작한다.

서울은 건국대·성신여대,야구모자 세탁법경기는 단국대,부산·경남은 동의대,대구·경북은 대구가톨릭대·계명대,야구모자 세탁법충청은 배재대,전라는 전주대 등이다.

시범대학은 최근 졸업생의 취업현황을 전수조사해 미취업 졸업생에게 프로그램을 안내·제공한다.정부는 이번 시범사업을 통해 3000명 이상의 미취업 졸업생 발굴 지원이 이뤄질 것으로 보고 있다.

수요조사를 토대로 졸업생이 원하는 프로그램을 기획해 제공 받을 수 있도록 지원하고,지역 기업의 구인수요·채용계획에 기반한 채용연계 프로그램도 제공한다.

청년들이 선호하는 동문 선배를 활용한 현직자 멘토링 프로그램을 제공하고,취업에 성공한 졸업생은 향후 동문 멘토단으로 참여하도록 하여 멘토-멘티 선순환 체계를 구축한다.

창업을 원하는 청년들은 창업지원기관·프로그램을 연계하고 기재부 경제교육센터와 함께 사회초년생에게 필요한 경제·금융교육을 제공하는 등 다양한 서비스도 제공한다.

시범사업 이후 내년에는 모든 대학일자리플러스센터(121개교)로 확대 시행하고,교육부의 학생정보와 고용부의 구직·취업정보를 연계하는 전산망을 구축하겠다는 계획이다.

이와 함께 대학일자리플러스센터와 고용복지플러스센터 등 청년 취업지원기관들이 연계되는 '지역청년고용네트워크'도 구축해,어느 기관에서 지원을 받더라도 취업 시까지 필요 서비스를 연계·지원하는 시스템을 만든다.
