대한의사협회가 오는 7월26일 의과대학 교수들,로드 워리어전공의 등 의료계 전 직역이 참여하는 대토론회를 연다.집단휴진 선언은 없었으나,로드 워리어참여하는 의사들이 진료실을 비우지 않을 수 없어 사실상 휴진과 다름없다는 지적이 나왔다.

범의료계 협의체 '올바른 의료를 위한 특별위원회(올특위)'는 지난 29일 2차 회의를 열고 "전 직역이 참여하는 '올바른 의료 정립을 위한 대토론회'를 전국적으로 개최"하기로 결정했다고 밝혔다.

올특위는 "26일 국회 보건복지위원회 청문회를 통해 의대 증원에 대한 과학적인 근거가 없고 의료계와 사전 협의가 없다는 것이 만천하에 공개됐다"며 "정부가 실패를 인정하고 전공의와 의대생의 요구안을 수용하는 전향적인 태도 변화를 보일 것"을 촉구했다.

회의를 앞두고 의사들이 7월26일 집단휴진을 결의할 예정이라는 말도 나왔으나,로드 워리어올특위 차원의 공식 언급은 없었다. 다만 이날 토론회는 의료계 전 직역을 대상으로 하루 종일 진행되므로 참석하는 의사들은 사실상 휴진할 수밖에 없을 거라는 분석이 나온다.
