쌍방울그룹 대북 송금 의혹을 받고 있는 이화영 전 경기도 부지사의 1심 선고 공판이 현재 진행 중입니다.

수원지방법원에 나가 있는 취재기자 다시 연결해보죠.

네,조금 전 2시부터 이 전 부지사의 1심 선고가 시작됐습니다.

재판부는 이 전 부지사의 혐의들에 대해 판단한 내용을 약 1시간째 읽어 내려가고 있는 상황입니다.

우선 이 전 부지사의 뇌물 수수 혐의에 대해선 재판부는 "김성태 전 쌍방울 회장이 이 전 부지사에게 건넨 법인카드를 실제로 이 전 부지사가 사용한 게 맞다"고 설명했습니다.

쌍방울의 법인카드를 썼던 2019년 무렵 이 전 부지사가 경기도의 대북 사업 전반에 대해 주도적인 역할을 수행했고 대북사업을 추진하려던 쌍방울로부터 돈을 받은 걸로 본다는 겁니다.

핵심 쟁점인 쌍방울 대북송금 관여 의혹에 대해선 김 전 회장에게 "대북제재만 해소되면 큰 사업을 할 수 있다는 취지로 설명했고 김 전 회장도 이 말을 신뢰해 대북사업을 진행하게 됐다"고 진술했다"고 적시했습니다.

또,"만일 이 전 부지사의 요청으로 쌍방울이 송금을 대신한 게 아니라면 대북사업을 추진한 이유를 납득하기 어렵다"고 판단했습니다.

다만,로또고수코리아"당시 도지사였던 이재명 더불어민주당 대표에게 직접 보고했느냐는 여부는 이 사건과 무관하다"고 밝혔습니다.

지난 4월 검찰은 이 전 부지사에게 징역 15년과 벌금 10억 원 등을 구형한 바 있습니다.

현재 혐의에 대한 설명이 대부분 진행돼 곧 선고 결과도 나올 걸로 보입니다.
