농림축산식품부가 외식업계에 물가 안정 기조에 동참해달라고 협조를 요청했습니다.

농식품부에 따르면 송미령 장관은 어제(5일) 중구 롯데리아 소공2호점을 찾아 "정부가 할당관세 확대 등을 통해 원가 부담 경감을 지원하는 만큼 기업도 원가 절감 노력을 통해 물가 안정에 적극 동참해달라"고 말했습니다.

최근 프랜차이즈 업계에서는 재료비와 인건비,해태 야구배달 수수료 등을 이유로 메뉴 가격 인상이 잇따르고 있습니다.

맥도날드는 지난달 16개 메뉴 가격을 평균 2.8% 올렸고,피자헛은 메뉴 2종 가격을 3%씩 인상했습니다.

이에 지난달 외식 물가 상승률은 2.8%로 소비자 물가 상승률(2.7%)을 웃돌았습니다.

BBQ는 지난 4일 치킨 메뉴 23개 가격을 평균 6.3% 올렸습니다.

다만 롯데리아를 운영하는 롯데GRS는 앞서 메뉴 인상 계획이 없다고 밝힌 바 있습니다.

롯데리아 관계자는 "원부자재,해태 야구인건비 등의 비용이 오르고 환율 급등까지 겹쳐 어려운 상황이지만 물가안정을 위해 노력하고 있다"면서도 가맹점주들의 수익이 점차 줄어 부담이 커지는 상황이라고 전했습니다.

이에 송 장관은 "식재료 가격안정,해태 야구인력난 해소 등 외식업계 경영 부담 완화를 위한 실효성 있는 대책을 마련하기 위해 노력하겠다"고 밝혔습니다.

정부는 외식업계 경영 부담을 줄이기 위해 설탕,커피생두 등 26개 식품 원료의 할당관세를 연말까지 연장하고 하반기에는 커피,해태 야구오렌지 농축액,코코아 가공품 등에 대한 할당관세를 새로 적용하기로 했습니다.
