거브러여수스 사무총장은 "아프리카와 이웃 나라로 더 확산될 가능성이 매우 우려스럽다"며 "이번 사태를 막고 생명을 구하기 위해서는 국제사회의 공조된 대응이 필수적"이라고 말했다.
