앞서 정부와 대통령실,2020년 KBO 한국시리즈국민의힘은 전날 고위 당정 협의회에서 인구전략기획부 신설에 공감대를 형성하고 이달 중 관련 법안을 발의해 신속하게 입법을 추진하기로 한 바 있습니다.

현재 정부 부처를 총괄하는 저출생 대응 정책 등은 대통령 직속인 저출산고령사회위원회(저고위)가 맡고 있지만 한계가 있다는 판단에 따른 것입니다.
